The DAF LF FA 8-12t, which is available at 7.5t, 10t or 12t GVW is ideal for recovery operations like retrieving stranded cars, vans or lightweight commercial vehicles (LCVs) from narrow urban streets to rural lanes.

The LF provides best-in-class manoeuvrability, thanks to a very small turning circle, compact cab and narrow overall width. This enables easy access to  the stranded vehicle whilst the low chassis height makes it easier to load and unload. . And thanks to a flexible chassis layout, with a wide range of possible wheelbases, drivelines and chassis options it can be tailored to every possible car recovery body. Whether it is to be equipped with a crane, hoisting equipment, a hydraulic loading platform or a towing system, the LF chassis can be used for almost anything. Furthermore, there is ample free space on the LF chassis, making it very easy to create extra storage on the chassis for equipment, such as hydraulic jacks or workshop tools.
