The transportation of building equipment and construction machinery requires vehicles that must be capable of high axle loads and sufficient traction to operate on unpaved construction sites.

Rigids within this segment are mostly flatbeds, sometimes with a small crane or the build-up on the chassis is a large crane. Tractors are usually combined with low loader trailers to transport construction machinery of all sizes. Axle loads range from up to 10 tonnes at the front to 26 tonnes for the double driven rear tandem axle. A wide choice of application related features may be specified to make the vehicle perfectly fit for the job.
